Don’t know what to make of this. I suspect this aging astronaut is just trying to grab a bit of fame before he becomes too senile to appreciate the attention.

However, if aliens are indeed in contact with earth governments, then how has that gone unnoticed for 60 years? It’s just too perfect, too neat, that governments the world over have somehow been able to coordinate such an outlandish conspiracy when most of them can barely function in an orderly fashion when a disaster strikes.

Further, why would these aliens care to keep themselves hidden from public view? What do they gain from secrecy? They’ve flown all this way across the cosmos (barring some kind of time portal, of course), just to remain in the shadows? Nonsense.
